Coupleworks is a group of six London based relationship therapists who offer couple and individual therapy. We are all fully accredited therapists who work from a psychodynamic framework but our experience and interests has led each of us to a more eclectic and diverse understanding of the work. Our specific expertise includes working with the impacts of addiction, depression, miscarriage and infertility, bereavement, eating disorders, cross cultural issues and psychosexual problems as well as separation and divorce. We work using various approaches including EFT, Imago, Mindfulness, CBT and other behavioural techniques. MORE INFO >>

AGIP

The Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy (AGIP) was founded in 1974. It offers an intensive training programme in individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy which leads to Professional Membership of AGIP and registration with the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis within UKCP. As well as theoretical and clinical seminars the course also includes a two year Infant Observation and an ongoing experiential group for trainees.
We have recently developed a 10 week Discovering Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy course as an introduction for those considering professional training. The course considers the way humans seek expression through art, literature, music, film, myths, legends and fairy tales and relates their meaning to key psychoanalytic concepts such as early infant development, mentalisation, oedipal issues and narcissism.
AGIP offers a Continuing Professional Development programme. In 2012 our events are linked to the theme of ‘The Father’.
AGIP also provides a highly regarded Psychotherapy Service, consisting of referrals, consultations and ongoing psychotherapy, including our low fee clinic, based in Archway. MORE INFO >>
