Amanda McIntyre

Amanda is Director of the Stefanou Foundation. She led the creation of the Foundation’s innovative programme, For Baby’s Sake. This is an evidence-based response to domestic abuse, traumatic childhood adversity and what babies need during the period from conception to age two. Both parents join during pregnancy, whether together as a couple are not, and are supported to break cycles of domestic abuse and give their baby the best start in life.

Amanda’s career has focused on bringing together the public, private and voluntary sectors to improve public services and strengthen local communities. Her previous positions include Head of Modernising Government at the CBI and Public Affairs Director at Accord plc
