Fay Ballard

Fay Ballard studied MA Fine Arts at Central Saint Martin’s Art School and History of Art at University of Sussex and lives in London. Her work is underpinned by psychoanalysis, informed by Freud, Melanie Klein, Hanna Segal, Donald Winnicott and Wilfred Bion. Fay’s recent exhibitions, exploring early parental loss and the emotional charge of personal belongings, include ‘Breathe’ at Freud Museum (London 2018) and Travelling Companions with Judy Goldhill (University of Cambridge, 2020).
