Erin Stevens

Erin Stevens is a counsellor/psychotherapist, writer and activist based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, specialising in working with clients who have had a previous harmful experience of therapy. Erin’s interest in harm in therapy has led her to campaign on issues of structural oppression, discrimination and exclusion in the therapy professions. As an autistic woman from a working-class background, Erin has a particular interest in the impact of middle-class and abled-normative professional structures on working-class and neurodivergent trainees, therapists and clients. Erin is cofounder of the Association of Neurodivergent Therapists and can be found on Twitter @aclientfirst.
