Amanda McIntyre

Amanda McIntyre is CEO of The For Baby’s Sake Trust, a charity using a catalytic model of philanthropy to protect vulnerable infants and tackle complex social problems.  Amanda led The For Baby’s Sake Trust’s multi-agency and interdisciplinary teamwork between highly respected experts to create For Baby’s Sake. Launched in London and Hertfordshire in 2015, For Baby’s Sake takes an innovative approach to supporting mothers and fathers to end the cycle and impact of domestic abuse, overcome trauma and nurture the emotional development of their babies and children. Amanda represents the voluntary sector on -together the public, private and voluntary sectors to improve public services and strengthen local communities. This included 18 years, until 2004, at the CBI (Confederation of British Industry), holding various positions including Head of Modernising Government.  She is a school governor in a primary school in Ponders End, Enfield.
