Heather Moore MA is a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor in private practice working with adults, adolescents and couples in Dublin city centre. She is a core trainer on the Masters programme in psychodynamic theory and practice in Dublin Business School. Heather is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). Coming from an art and design background, she uses creativity in a sensitively attuned manner to engage clients in the therapeutic space. These creative endeavours are ways to promote self-regulation as well as communicating conscious and unconscious aspects of the self and Other. It was her work in an Irish mental health centre that solely counselled teenagers and adults struggling with suicidal ideation that influenced her to research into the impact of this particular work on Irish clinicians.
