Natalie Vickers

Natalie Vickers

Initially as a homeopath Natalie supported people bridge the shifting nature of change. In these marginal spaces she observed the various physical, mental and emotional shapes humans adopt to get through, witnessing the  remedial and holistic nature of our connectedness to the natural world.

She went on to study psychology and apprenticed with Earth based medicine practitioners with a particular pull towards European indigenous ecstatic traditions.

Passionate about the re-discovery of and what indigene may mean on these isles, she comes from an Irish lineage where ‘there was always a woman who did this work’. A rites of passage and wilderness guide, trained at the School of Lost  Borders, she is also a body worker and ceremonialist. Natalie is currently a nomadic traveller unveiling the bones of this land. Holding the repository for an art project as ‘artist in dialogue’ gathering story and response of what it means to belong.

She has worked in private practice since 1995 supporting young people and adults through transitional spaces into adulthood and creative potentiality. She also holds group workshops and is a tutor at Braziers Park, an intentional community in South Oxfordshire.
