Dr Michael O’Loughlin

Michael O’Loughlin is an Irish born college professor and researcher at Adelphi University on Long Island, New York, USA where he teaches both Education and Psychology. He is also a holds a Ph.D. degree in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. He is co-editor of the academic journal ‘Psychoanalysis, Culture & Society’ and editor of the books, Psychodynamic Perspectives on Working with Children, Families, and Schools (2012), and The Uses of Psychoanalysis in Working with Children’s Emotional Lives (2013) and The Ethics of Remembering and the Consequences of Forgetting: Essays on Trauma, History, and Memory (2014).  http://michaeloloughlinphd.com
