Mary Tennes

Mary Tennes, PhD, is a training analyst and supervisor as well as faculty at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California and in private practice in Oakland, CA.  She has a long-standing interest in psychoanalysis and the uncanny, which has been a central focus in her teaching and writing for over 30 years.  She sees psychoanalysis at its heart, as a radical project which continues to open to that which is beyond the limits of the known.
