Maktuno Suit

Maktuno first studied sociology at the London School of Economics to understand complex systems and then worked in the criminal justice system to design policies and services to reduce reoffending. During the mid-noughties he designed award winning anti knife crime and conflict resolution programmes for gang-affected young people in London. This led to him training as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist where he specialised in working with personality disorder.

For several years he worked for the National Health Service (NHS) within secondary talking therapy services in East London. He later worked for the Ministry of Justice developing community services to risk assess and treat offenders screened on to the Personality Disorder Pathway. His most recent clinical role was as a group psychotherapist on a pilot wing at therapeutic prison HMP Grendon for offenders with learning disabilities.

Over the past five years he has used his psychological expertise within companies as an executive coach with C-suite leaders to transform dysfunction and toxicity within teams and organisational cultures.

After running his own business for three years, he currently works for PA Consulting as a management consultant.
