Judith Anderson

The Triple Warmer’ or ‘bird beak’  is a very natural and comforting pose. People often cup their chin in their hand and rest on the side of the cheek like which is calming and particularly helpful with PTSD and hyper-arousal.  NB in this video Judith Anderson demonstrates a version where she crosses over her arm over her chest –More usually people rest their right cheek on their right hand/left cheek on left hand.

Judith Anderson is a Jungian Psychotherapist, UKCP registered and a member of the West Midlands Institute for Psychotherapy. She has worked as a psychotherapist for 18 years, following a mental health background as a Consultant Psychiatrist. She is interested in way that past childhood trauma can impact our adult lives, individually and in our relationships.
