Jo Haigh

Jo Haigh covers the theme of financial acumen and entrepreneurial growth for this seminar programme. She is a partner and Head of Corporate finance for MGR and a partner in the fds Group, a specialist training and development business.

Jo is a Visiting Fellow at The University of Leeds, where she delivers the Corporate Governance development programme. She sits on the board for six commercial companies and two charity boards, Crimestoppers and the Angelus Advisory Group.

She was winner of IoD Business Advisor of the Year 2009/2006, and Yorkshire Businesswoman of the Year 2005 and is author of three books including The Business Rules (2005), An Entrepreneur's Guide to Buying and Selling Businesses (2007) and Tales from the Glass Ceiling - A Survival Guide for Women in Business (2008) which was best selling business book of the year 2008, selling over 500k copies.
