Dr Neil Harrison
Dr Harrison heads the Psychoneuroimmunology Lab at Brighton & Sussex Medical School and is a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at Sussex Partnership Trust. His research investigates how changes in peripheral physiology/immunology are represented within the brain and modulate motivation, emotion and cognition. His research in Psychoneuroimmunology is highly cited and he is a founder member of PRIME (Psychiatrists Researching Inflammation Mood Effects). Since 2010 his research has been funded by a prestigious Wellcome Trust Intermediate Clinical Fellowship. | ![]() |
