Professor Marcus Pembrey

Marcus Pembrey is Emeritus Professor of Paediatric Genetics at University College London’s Institute of Child Health and was a consultant clinical geneticist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. A Visiting Professor at the University of Bristol he was director of genetics within the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children for 1990-2005. He has been involved in epigenetic research from the 1980’s, with a focus on transgenerational responses since the mid 1990’s.
